SpeculaGuide

Settings & personalization

Make Specula fit the way you work — and change it any time.

Getting started

When you create an account, Specula asks for your date of birth (Specula is for adults aged 18 and over), then a few optional questions: what to call you, your role, what you mainly use Specula for, how you'd like answers written, your preferred language, and whether to turn on memory. Skip any of them.

Specula uses your answers in every conversation automatically — you never need to repeat them.

Settings

Open Settings from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.

  • Profile — your picture, display name and role. Your email comes from Google; your date of birth can't be changed.
  • Personalization — response style (Concise, Balanced, Detailed or Professional), preferred language, scouting interests and custom instructions, such as the leagues you cover or how you like reports laid out.
  • Memory — switch memory on or off, and view, edit or delete what Specula remembers.
  • Appearance — Light, Dark or System.
  • Privacy & data — export your data, or delete all of your research.
  • Account — your connected Google account, sign out, or delete your account.

Changes apply from your next message.
